Straw Tips
SELA straw tips are manufactured in house of a proprietary blend of LDPE resins within an injection mold process that is designed to produce very high quality parts. Straw tips feature three nodules on the ring which make the tip easier to attach to the straw and then locks into place on a corrugated straw. The cap also has two locking rings on the inside of the tip to provide a tight fit on the straw. The tether between the ring and tip is very flexible. These tips will fit our corrugated straws, memory straws and .375 diameter smooth wall straws.
Our standard straw tip colors are Natural, White, (Coke) Red, (Pepsi) Blue, Yellow and Black.
Material Type
- LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) is a fairly soft plastic with good tactile feel and is very tough. It will stretch somewhat before breaking and edges will be soft so that safety is not a concern. The grade selected by SELA for our corrugated straws is FDA grade.
